ChromaClip – Automatic Clip Coloring

ChromaClip is a Max for Live utility designed to keep your set visually organized without breaking your flow. Every new clip you create on the track instantly gets a fresh color, chosen from Live’s first 14 clip colors.

The built-in palette is configurable, toggle colors on or off to define your own cycle. Whether you want just two alternating hues, a handful of favorites, or the full rainbow, ChromaClip adapts to your workflow.

It works not only for manually created clips, but also for new takes while recording, and even samples dragged onto the timeline, everything is automatically colored.
